The Registrars Service Ancestral Research Fees
Particular Search made by registrar for a specified entry whether traced or untraced for each period of 5 years or part thereof – £5.00
General Search made by customer – £10.00 per hour
Extract if search fee paid £9.00
DIGROS search made by registrar of Digital Imaging of Genealogical Records of Scotland’s People – £5.00 for 15 minutes
Local Heritage Centre Fees
The cost for a search is £23.50 per hour, minimum £5.00.
A4 Photocopies are 10p per sheet.
A3 Photocopies are 20p per sheet.
A4 Microfilm/Fiche Print Copies are 75p per sheet.

Family history research fee £20.00. Charges for copies and photographs depending on size, number and format.
Cullen Deskford and Portknockie Heritage Group
Donations of £20 for initial research welcome. Charges will be made for copies and photographs, depending on size, number and format.
